First Driveway Shoveling

This past Friday was my first real experience shoveling snow from a driveway. It was everything I'd hoped it would be, and more. Believe this: real men still shovel. Pussies use snow blowers. And this pussy will be heading to home depot this summer when those suckers go on sale.

Before, during, and after shots are here.

AS someone now with 5 years of shoveling experience I say "Brilliant job".
Just wait until you get a storm that drops 3 inches where you started before you finish.

Man, I miss snow. One would think we live in Tampa.

Pat: Thanks! That means a lot coming from a veteran like you. I felt quite good about it, actually. But I was thinking about the potential of a scenario like what you described. To a certain degree it's all about timing, I guess. But sometimes you just got to go shovel, regardless.

Laundro: That's one thing that kinda sucks about the DC/BWI region: it always seems like it could snow, but it rarely does. Which leaves you feeling all this anticipation and no satisfaction. Reminds me of a girlfriend I had when I was fifteen.

Yeah. 10 years ago it was completely different. I guess it's global warming or whatever. I guess your neck of the woods is next... Enjoy it while you can.
